On a day tour of this wonderful beer region, sample some of the fine all-natural ingredient beers, many of which are not available outside of the breweries.  An Exotic Beer Tasting of Greater Toronto Area Micro Breweries includes visiting three of these award-winning breweries and relaxing over a pub lunch.

The first stop is Black Oak Brewery for a tour and samples, hopefully with the brewery owner, if he is not out selling his award-winning beers. Taste award-winning Nut Brown Ale and “10 Bitter Years” Ale while exploring behind the scenes at this small microbrewery.

The next stop is Cameron’s Brewing Company which started production in 1987 and has a 10,000-square-foot facility. Taste a selection of award-winning beers including its flagship brand, Cameron’s Cream Ale. This beer was a previous gold medal winner for Best Bottled Ale.

After lunch at Pepperwood Bistro overlooking Burlington Bay, stop for samples at Nickel Brook Brewery. Opened in 1992

Nickel Brook is committed to practicing the art of beer as an art rather than merely a process. The brewery produces regular and exotic beers including Special Edition Scotch Ale and Maple Porter infused with pure dark, maple syrup.
